Energy Regulatory Associate
This group represents developers, utilities, and energy infrastructure clients before FERC and state public utility commissions. The docket runs heavy on rate proceedings, interconnection disputes, and compliance counseling under evolving grid rules. Work is roughly half proceedings and half advisory, with occasional exposure to enforcement defense.
What this firm is looking for
- 1–10 years of energy regulatory experience at a firm, agency, or house counsel office
- Demonstrated exposure to FERC or state commission proceedings, rulemakings, or rate cases
- Familiarity with energy markets, transmission policy, or environmental attributes programs
- Strong analytical writing and ability to translate technical record into legal strategy
