This role supports a product team serving AI developers who need reliable, scalable access to public web data. You will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including API licensing deals and SDK distribution contracts, while managing data privacy compliance across global jurisdictions. The work requires translating technical constraints into clear contractual terms that protect intellectual property without stifling innovation.
What this firm is looking for
- 4 to 10 years of experience in a technology-focused in-house or firm role
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting commercial agreements for SaaS, API, or data products
- Strong grasp of data privacy regulations and intellectual property strategy
- Ability to advise engineering teams on legal risk in real time
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar association
