Associate Attorney – Airports
You will negotiate airline use-and-lease agreements, advise airport sponsors on FAA grant assurances and Part 139 compliance, and draft environmental review documents under NEPA for runway extensions, terminal redevelopments, and airfield electrification projects. The work sits at the intersection of transportation law, land use, environmental permitting, and federal regulatory advocacy. Clients include public airport authorities and transit agencies tackling complex project delivery, rate-setting disputes, and intergovernmental agreements across the country.
What this firm is looking for
- 1 to 4 years of legal experience in environmental, land use, transportation, or infrastructure law
- Strong statutory and regulatory analysis skills, including experience with NEPA, the FAA Reauthorization Act, or similar federal frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to draft transactional documents such as leases, development agreements, or grant assurances
- Admission to the bar of New York or Washington, D.C., or eligibility to waive in promptly
