A global full-service law firm with a deep litigation bench and a multi-century track record
General/Commercial Litigation Associate
The docket is substantial and varied: you will step directly into breach-of-contract disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, fraud and business-tort claims, and real estate litigation for clients in financial services, manufacturing, health care, and agribusiness. Matters span state and federal trial courts, domestic arbitrations, and appellate work, with active discovery, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation underway. The team expects you to take depositions, argue motions, and manage case strategy with meaningful autonomy.
What this firm is looking for
- 4 to 8 years of commercial and general litigation experience at a law firm
- Proven ability to handle depositions, contested hearings, and dispositive motion practice independently
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills demonstrated through briefs and pleadings
- Active bar license in the state of practice
- Experience managing discovery and day-to-day case strategy with limited oversight
