A century-old Florida-rooted firm with 30+ practice areas, serving business clients from eight offices around the state
Business Litigation Associate
The firm’s longtime construction and real estate litigation group in Florida is at capacity, creating a need for a mid-level associate who can step directly into active disputes. You will handle breach-of-contract claims, delay and defect actions, lien foreclosures, and payment-bond litigation for general contractors, developers, and commercial property owners. Matters sit in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration, and you’ll draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and help steer cases toward trial or negotiated resolution.
What this firm is looking for
- 3 to 7 years of commercial litigation experience, with meaningful exposure to construction, real estate, or complex business disputes
- Comfortable managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions, and arguing contested matters
- Deposition experience and first-chair or second-chair trial or evidentiary hearing background
- Strong academic credentials and current Florida Bar membership
