Advise high-net-worth families, founders, and fiduciaries on multigenerational wealth transfer, tax-sensitive estate planning, and the administration of complex trusts. Draft and restructure grantor trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, SLATs, and charitable vehicles, often for clients with concentrated positions in private equity, real estate, and cryptocurrency. Handle probate litigation and contested accountings when negotiations fail, and collaborate internationally on cross-border estate and gift tax matters.
What this firm is looking for
- At least 8 years of trusts and estates experience in a sophisticated private-client or wealth-planning practice
- Deep fluency in federal transfer-tax rules, income-tax planning for trusts, and multi-jurisdictional estate administration
- Demonstrated ability to originate and sustain a portable book of business
- Comfort advising on digital-asset holdings, family offices, and closely held business-succession structures
- Active bar membership in Florida, Texas, or New York
