The docket here is operational, not adversarial: you will inherit the legal workflow for tens of thousands of consumer immigration matters annually—Express Entry, provincial nominee programs, family sponsorship, temporary work permits—each requiring coordinated document intake, AI-assisted eligibility assessment, and escalation paths to counsel. You will sit between automated intake systems and the lawyers who review final submissions, designing the handoffs where software meets statutory compliance. The clients are individuals and families, not institutions; the stakes are visa refusals, not verdicts.
What this firm is looking for
- 4–10 years in legal operations, immigration law, or consumer-facing regulated services
- Experience building or optimizing workflows where technology supports lawyer review, especially in high-volume, document-heavy environments
- Familiarity with Canadian immigration statutes, regulations, and federal tribunal procedures
- Track record managing cross-functional projects across legal, engineering, and customer-facing teams
- Comfort with AI-assisted tooling and data integrity in a compliance-sensitive setting
