The real estate group is building out its platform for complex commercial acquisitions and dispositions, with increasing overlap into mixed-use development and institutional capital deployment. You would handle purchase and sale agreements, joint-venture structuring, and debt and equity financing for REITs, developers, and private funds—often in deals where New Jersey and New York regulatory frameworks intersect. The work sits at the associate level with direct partner contact and runs leanly staffed, so drafting responsibility comes early.
What this firm is looking for
- 5–8 years of transactional real estate experience at a law firm
- Documented experience leading diligence, negotiating PSAs, and managing closing mechanics
- Facility with entity formation and operating agreements for JV and fund structures
- Admitted to practice in New York; New Jersey bar or eligibility to waive in preferred
