Hearing Representative (Workers' Compensation Defense)
Employers and insurance carriers navigating California’s workers' compensation system need rigorous advocacy at every hearing. This role handles that frontline defense—representing clients before the WCAB in Sacramento and Los Angeles on disputed claims, lien litigation, and rating disputes. You will manage a docket from application through trial, taking depositions and cross-examining applicants to mitigate exposure. Remote work is available for the right operator.
What this firm is looking for
- 3 to 20 years of experience in workers' compensation proceedings
- Demonstrated ability to represent clients before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board
- Command of depositions, trial advocacy, and lien resolution
- Willingness to handle matters in Sacramento and Los Angeles
