The lawyers who thrive here carry a manageable docket of workers' compensation matters — mostly self-insured employers and third-party administrators in construction, logistics, and healthcare — from initial denial through trial at the WCAB. You will take and defend depositions, develop medical defenses, and argue at the board, with remote work available after onboarding. The firm staffs cases leanly; expect early autonomy and direct client contact.
What this firm is looking for
- 1 to 30 years of California workers' compensation defense experience
- Active California bar admission in good standing
- Trial-ready: comfort with WCAB hearings, liens, and mandatory settlement conferences
- Experience advising self-insured employers or insurance carriers preferred
