You will handle defamation litigation from intake through trial or settlement, including high-stakes matters against broadcast networks and digital platforms. The work spans libel and false-light claims for clients in media, cryptocurrency, and financial services. Current docket includes precedent-setting cases. Four to six years of litigation experience required.
What this firm is looking for
- 4-6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or government office
- Substantial deposition, brief writing, and discovery practice
- First- or second-chair trial experience preferred
- DC Bar admission or willingness to waive in promptly
