The insurance litigation group is growing its Los Angeles bench as carriers and financial institutions face an increasingly complex claims environment. You will handle coverage disputes, bad-faith litigation, and complex indemnity matters in state and federal courts, often with significant exposure and sophisticated corporate policyholders. The work demands facility with policy language, procedural strategy, and the regulatory frameworks that govern the insurance sector.
What this firm is looking for
- 4-7 years of insurance litigation or coverage experience, preferably with policyholder or carrier-side work
- First-chair or substantial second-chair experience in depositions, dispositive motions, and court appearances
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex discovery and work with expert witnesses in financial or technical disciplines
- Active California bar membership or willingness to obtain admission promptly
