Take the lead on complex general liability matters from intake through trial—defending insurers, corporations, and public entities in coverage disputes, premises liability, and construction defect cases. The docket runs through New York state and federal courts, with hybrid flexibility built around court schedules and client meetings. The firm books solid government and insurance-sector work, so you will anchor a practice with actual institutional client flow already in motion.
What this firm is looking for
- 7 to 15 years of general liability defense experience, with first-chair trial or arbitration background
- Portable book of business or demonstrable client relationships in the New York/New Jersey corridor
- Active practice in New York state and/or federal courts
- Experience with insurer clients, coverage analysis, or government liability exposure
- Comfort with hybrid presence: court days in person, research and drafting remotely
