Mid-size full-service New York firm with deep government and regulatory ties
Bankruptcy Attorney — Debtor Litigation, Partner / Senior Associate
This seat opened as a founding member of the bankruptcy group nears retirement after two decades. You will lead debtor-side litigation in Chapter 11 restructurings—often for middle-market manufacturers, real estate holding companies, and healthcare operators—arguing cash-collateral motions, adversary proceedings, and plan-confirmation disputes in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. The partners here built their commercial and regulatory practices over long tenures; the culture runs toward collaboration rather than silos.
What this firm is looking for
- 8–15 years of debtor-side bankruptcy litigation experience
- Trial and evidentiary hearing experience in federal bankruptcy court
- Track record managing creditor committees, trustees, and DIP lenders
- Admitted to practice in New York; partnership credentials or readiness preferred
