The New York and Los Angeles offices need a partner to handle fund launches and secondary transactions for healthcare and manufacturing sponsors. The work spans closed-end private equity fund structures, co-investment vehicles, and regulatory counseling under the Advisers Act. This seat opened after a partner retirement in the Texas office; the group wants coverage across multiple time zones.
What this firm is looking for
- 8+ years of partnership or equivalent experience in investment management or fund formation
- Active practice representing private equity, credit, or hybrid fund sponsors
- Experience with healthcare or manufacturing sector funds preferred
- Admitted to practice in at least one of: New York, California, Texas, Illinois, or D.C.
- Portable client relationships or demonstrable business development track record
