We seek a funds attorney who thrives on structuring complex investment vehicles and negotiating limited partnership agreements. Your daily work will involve guiding emerging managers through formation, advising on regulatory compliance, and managing capital calls for venture capital portfolios. This role demands deep familiarity with the lifecycle of private funds rather than general corporate maintenance.
What this firm is looking for
- 10 - 15 years of relevant legal experience
- Proven track record in fund formation and venture capital transactions
- Experience representing investment managers or limited partners
- Strong command of partnership agreements and private placement memoranda
- Admission to the New York Bar preferred
