A transatlantic law firm handling complex, cross-border finance and impact-investing transactions
Senior Debt Finance Attorney (Partner / Of Counsel)
The New York office is building out a senior-level debt finance capability to complement its active private credit and venture lending practices. Clients are primarily fund sponsors, development finance institutions, and growth-stage companies negotiating secured and unsecured credit facilities, mezzanine debt, and subscription-line financings. The work sits at the intersection of structured credit and venture finance, often involving bespoke covenant packages and intercreditor arrangements where a single capital stack blends commercial and concessional capital. This is a seat for an attorney who can originate deals, drive term-sheet negotiations, and mentor a lean team of associates through complex closings.
What this firm is looking for
- 10 to 15 years of experience in debt finance, with a concentration on lender-side representations for private credit funds or venture debt providers.
- Deep command of Article 9 security perfection, intercreditor agreements, and subordination structures.
- Proven ability to generate and manage client relationships—this role carries an explicit origination expectation.
- Admitted to the New York bar and comfortable operating as a deal lead in a hybrid team environment.
