A Los Angeles-based law firm focused on corporate restructuring, distressed finance, and creditors' rights
Paralegal – Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
You will draft and file first-day motions, schedules of assets and liabilities, monthly operating reports, and plan disclosure documents for middle-market debtors across retail, healthcare, and manufacturing. The work spans the full bankruptcy lifecycle, from pre-filing preparation through plan confirmation, with direct exposure to contested stay-relief hearings and claim-objection litigation. You will also handle UCC searches, lien-perfection analysis, and diligence for DIP financing and § 363 sale processes. This role sits inside a hybrid team that values precise, self-directed paralegals who can manage competing docket deadlines without handholding.

- Experience with Best Case, Clio, or similar bankruptcy-software platforms.
- Strong command of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and local Los Angeles court rules.
- Ability to work from the firm's Los Angeles office several days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
