Associate - Real Estate
The real estate practice is deepening its work in housing finance and development, with associates directly structuring low-income housing tax credit deals, negotiating joint-venture agreements, and guiding transactions from letter of intent through closing. You will work with developers, lenders, and investors on the regulatory and transactional mechanics that make affordable housing projects viable. The work is heavily negotiated, document-intensive, and politically situated.
What this firm is looking for
- 3–6 years of real estate transactional experience at a law firm or comparable setting
- Substantial exposure to affordable housing, LIHTC, or related development finance structures
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, operating agreements, and loan documents
- Admission to practice in New York or eligibility to waive in promptly
