The candidate will handle a varied docket of insurance defense matters, focusing on civil defense from pre-trial through trial. Primary clients are insurance carriers and self-insured entities in a range of industries. The role involves litigating matters in state and federal courts, with a focus on motion practice and oral arguments. The bulk of work will be case management and preparing for depositions, trials, and other court appearances.
What this firm is looking for
- 2 to 4 years of civil litigation experience
- Texas bar admission
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with insurance defense or related liability
