Am Law 100 firm with a coast-to-coast litigation presence
Media & Entertainment Litigation Associate
The media and entertainment group is expanding its litigation bench in California. This associate will handle content-related disputes for studios, streamers, and talent-facing companies—copyright and contract claims, rights-of-publicity actions, and First Amendment matters in state and federal court, often with public-profile stakes. The work sits at the intersection of IP, commercial litigation, and regulatory scrutiny of the entertainment business.
What this firm is looking for
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to media, entertainment, or IP-heavy matters
- Active state bar admission; willingness to sit for California if not currently admitted
- Demonstrated drafting experience in dispositive motions, pleadings, or discovery strategy
- Comfort advising clients in industries where reputational and commercial risk run parallel
