This attorney will absorb an ongoing caseload comprising employee handbook updates, discrimination cases, and union negotiations within the construction industry. They'll manage court appearances, motions, and settlement conferences, often representing clients before the National Labor Relations Board. Expect to handle wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination claims, and defend against discrimination charges in federal and state courts. No waiting for deals to come to you.
What this firm is looking for
- 3 to 5 years of labor & employment experience, with a focus on the construction industry
- Relevant courtroom experience, including motions, hearings, and trials
- Strong record of successful advocacy, including settlement negotiations and dispute resolution
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York
