You'd step into an active docket: wage-and-hour claims, retaliation and discrimination cases, and commercial disputes working through Georgia state courts and federal court. The matters lean on procedural precision - discovery deadlines, deposition logistics, and trial binders for hearings that actually go. Expect to run case files from answer through verdict, not just maintain them.
What this firm is looking for
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with employment or complex civil matters strongly preferred
- Skilled in discovery management, e-filing in Georgia state and federal courts, and trial preparation support
- Comfortable drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and deposition summaries with light attorney review
- Able to manage multiple case deadlines independently in an on-site role
