This partnership track suits a dealmaker who treats a real estate portfolio like a long-term client relationship, not a collection of one-off closings. You will structure, negotiate, and close acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and complex financings on behalf of developers, lenders, funds, and family offices, while also stepping into workouts, restructurings, and the occasional litigation posture when a deal frays at the edges. The practice draws on a steady flow of institutional lending work and creditor-side matters, giving you a platform to deepen existing client ties and bring your own book into a collegial, leanly staffed environment.
What this firm is looking for
- 10+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial lending
- Meaningful portable book of business with institutional or private real estate clients
- Comfort navigating workouts, restructuring, and related litigation strategy
- New York bar admission in good standing
