A focused, multi-office law practice serving the commercial real estate and construction sectors
Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Newark sits at the intersection of major logistics infrastructure and dense urban redevelopment—this seat is open because the transaction flow from industrial portfolios, structured ground leases, and construction lending demands a dedicated senior hand. You will manage title and survey reviews, orchestrate closings for acquisitions and dispositions, draft ancillary deal documents, and coordinate due diligence for financings and joint ventures. The work spans warehouse/distribution assemblages, mixed-use projects, and complex refinancings. Direct contact with developers, institutional lenders, and title officers is a daily reality.
What this firm is looking for
- 7 to 10 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm setting.
- Deep fluency in title and survey analysis, closing mechanics, and UCC fixture filings.
- Hands-on experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial mortgage lending transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a document management system; experience with Closing Folders or similar transaction management platforms.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple deal teams while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
