Your docket starts with the commercial agreements underpinning a portfolio of AI ventures—negotiating enterprise SaaS contracts, structuring founder IP assignments, and steering revenue-share deals through signature. As the founding internal lawyer, you will draft the first standardized playbooks these founders reach for and untangle the data-licensing provisions that dictate how models train. The work is early-stage, pragmatic, and squarely at the intersection of artificial intelligence and venture capital.
What this firm is looking for
- 5 - 8 years of relevant legal experience
- Substantive background in emerging companies or venture capital
- Direct experience negotiating commercial contracts for AI or technology clients
- Admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
- Comfort operating as the sole in-house attorney in a startup environment
