This seat suits a paralegal who has spent years in the boilerplate of closings, not just the ceremony. You will run title and survey review, assemble closing sets, coordinate lenders, buyers, and title companies, and manage due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and commercial leasing across office, retail, and multifamily assets. The attorneys here treat paralegals as deal engineers: you own checklists, cure the title exceptions, and keep files moving to the closing table.
What this firm is looking for
- 5–15 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
- Hands-on with title commitments, surveys, and closing document preparation
- Comfortable managing due diligence and post-closing follow-through with minimal supervision
- On-site in New York five days a week
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional credential preferred
