You will structure in-court restructurings and negotiate out-of-court workouts for distressed enterprises. Day-to-day work involves drafting pleadings in Chapter 11 proceedings, counseling creditors on forbearance agreements, and managing contested matters in bankruptcy court. The docket spans manufacturing, retail, and real estate debtors navigating insolvency.
What this firm is looking for
- 2 - 6 years of bankruptcy and financial restructuring experience
- Demonstrated skill drafting bankruptcy pleadings and transactional documents
- Experience with Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts
- Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
