Junior Litigation Associate
This group handles bet-the-company defamation cases for media, finance, and crypto clients — from complaint through jury verdict. The associate joining now will draft dispositive motions, manage discovery in parallel federal and state actions, and prepare witnesses for depositions in matters that draw national attention. Recent work includes a nine-figure settlement against a major broadcast network. The DC office requires daily presence; the docket mix is roughly 60% media, 25% financial services, 15% digital assets.
What this firm is looking for
- 1–3 years of litigation experience at a law firm, government office, or clerkship
- Drafting experience on substantive motions and discovery disputes in federal court
- Comfort with media and technology subject matter; First Amendment exposure a plus
- Trial preparation or mock trial experience preferred
- Active bar membership or willingness to waive into DC promptly
