New York-based firm with a real estate finance practice representing institutional lenders
Commercial Real Estate Lending Associate
The Manhattan lending market has stayed active through rate uncertainty, and this group needs another pair of hands for the pipeline. You would handle acquisition, construction, and permanent financing for REITs, private equity sponsors, and family offices—drafting loan documents, negotiating intercreditor arrangements, and managing closings from term sheet through funding. The seat opened after a senior associate was elevated to partner internally.
What this firm is looking for
- 4–15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, representing lenders or borrowers
- Deep familiarity with loan agreements, mortgages, mezzanine structures, and related security instruments
- Experience with office, multifamily, or mixed-use transactions in the New York market
- Admitted to practice in New York or eligible to waive in promptly
