You'll defend wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA claims, and single-plaintiff discrimination suits for clients spanning hospitality, healthcare, and logistics. The work blends motion practice in state and federal court — summary judgment, demurrers, discovery motions — with day-to-day counseling on terminations, policy handbooks, and workplace investigations. Roughly half the week in the Los Angeles office; the rest remote. The docket runs heavy on California-specific exposure: meal and rest break litigation, Private Attorneys General Act representative actions, and DLFE hearings.
What this firm is looking for
- 3–7 years of labor and employment experience, preferably management-side
- Class action and PAGA defense background
- Trial preparation and discovery motion experience
- Active California bar membership
