Mid-Atlantic-rooted firm with New York presence and dual strengths in litigation and construction law
Complex Commercial Litigation Associate – Financial Services
The financial services litigation group is expanding its New York footprint and needs a mid-level associate to handle high-stakes disputes for banks, insurers, and investment vehicles. You will work on breach of contract claims, fraud actions, and regulatory-adjacent fights in state and federal court, often with construction or real estate finance threads. The partner team values associates who can draft dispositive motions, take depositions, and manage document-heavy discovery without constant supervision. Hybrid schedule: three days in the New York office.
What this firm is looking for
- 4 to 8 years of complex commercial litigation experience, ideally with financial services exposure
- First-chair deposition experience and motion practice in state or federal court
- Experience with construction-related disputes, real estate finance litigation, or both
- Ability to work hybrid from New York and collaborate across offices
