Developers and sponsors navigating affordable housing projects need counsel who understand the intricacies of structuring, financing, and closing these deals. In this role, you will draft and negotiate acquisition and financing documents, oversee due diligence, and guide transactions from letter of intent through closing. The work demands fluency in the regulatory and economic frameworks unique to subsidized housing. Based in Buffalo, the position follows a hybrid schedule.
What this firm is looking for
- 3 - 6 years of real estate transactional experience
- Substantive background in affordable housing finance and development
- Skill in drafting and negotiating complex acquisition and lending documents
- Admission to the New York bar
- Capacity to manage deal processes from diligence through closing
