Negotiate licensing agreements for training datasets spanning pharmaceutical research and genomic databases. Advise product teams on FDA-facing software determinations and laboratory-developed test regulations. Structure partnerships with academic medical centers and contract research organizations; manage disputes over IP ownership in collaborative discovery environments.
What this firm is looking for
- 3–10 years of experience in technology transactions, regulatory healthcare, or in-house commercial roles
- Substantive exposure to FDA, HIPAA, or clinical research governance frameworks
- Drafted and negotiated complex agreements with research institutions, pharma, or data vendors
- Experience supporting engineering or science-driven product development teams
- Admitted to practice; hybrid presence in San Francisco or New York required
