Senior Patent Prosecution Associate (CS/EE)
The intellectual property group is expanding its patent prosecution bench to meet growing demand from hardware and software clients at the intersection of technology and healthcare. This role centers on drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO for computer science and electrical engineering inventions, with portfolios spanning medical devices, diagnostics platforms, and health-related AI systems. You will work directly with venture-backed startups and established medical technology companies navigating crowded patent landscapes and international filing strategies.
What this firm is looking for
- 6-10 years of patent prosecution experience with CS/EE matters
- USPTO registration and admission to a state bar
- Strong technical grounding in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience preparing and prosecuting applications in competitive technology sectors
