This role centers on single-plaintiff and class-action employment disputes in federal and state court, with an emphasis on the entertainment, technology, and media industries. You will defend clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour violations, while also advising on restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and internal investigations. Matters regularly involve motion practice, depositions, administrative charges, and direct client counseling alongside a deeply collaborative national team.
What this firm is looking for
- 4 to 8 years of employment litigation experience in a law firm environment.
- Hands-on experience managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting dispositive motions.
- Comfortable counseling sophisticated media, technology, or entertainment clients on California employment law.
- Active membership in the California Bar and the ability to work from the Los Angeles or San Francisco office on a hybrid schedule.
