This team steps in when a serious dispute demands a trial lawyer, not just a litigator. Clients include regional manufacturers, design professionals, and property owners who need clear-eyed counsel through catastrophic injury claims, construction defect suits, and complex insurance coverage battles. You will first-chair jury trials in state and federal court, depose expert witnesses, and shape case strategy from answer through verdict. The partners here spend their time preparing witnesses and cross-examining opposing experts, not managing discovery vendors.
What this firm is looking for
- 6 to 10 years of litigation experience, including meaningful first-chair trial work
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships within an insurance defense or commercial litigation practice
- Comfortable handling a docket of complex liability matters with minimal oversight
- A portable book of business is welcomed but not required
