The patent litigation group is expanding its bench for Hatch-Waxman and biologics disputes as well as high-stakes hardware and software cases. Associates here draft claim-construction briefs, manage expert discovery, and prepare for bench and jury trials in district courts across the country, often alongside teams advising early-stage drug developers and established semiconductor companies. The work demands close collaboration with Ph.D.-level technical specialists and direct client contact from the outset.
What this firm is looking for
- 1–6 years of patent litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Technical degree or demonstrated fluency with life sciences, chemistry, or electrical engineering subject matter
- Active experience with district court litigation, including claim construction and expert discovery
- Admission to a U.S. state bar; patent bar strongly preferred
